
Greg De Temmerman is Managing Director, Deeptech & Ecosystem at Techleap, where he leads efforts to strengthen the Netherlands’ deeptech sector and accelerate the translation of world-class research into globally competitive companies.
A physicist and science and innovation leader, Greg spent more than 15 years working in nuclear fusion, including serving as scientific coordinator at ITER from 2014 to 2020. He later became the founding Managing Director of Zenon Research and served as Deputy CEO and Chief Science Officer of the Quadrature Climate Foundation.
Greg holds a PhD in experimental physics from the University of Basel and an MSc in chemistry. A TED speaker and author of Energy Chronicles, he has published more than 230 scientific papers and is an associate researcher at Mines Paris PSL and Imperial College London.
